Tea Party
Gwen has recently acquired quite a few Lalaloopsy dolls. Not total familiar with the Lalaloopsy thing - we have never watched the show. They have buttons for eyes which is slightly weird lol, but G loves them.

Easter arts and crafts
Have I mentioned that G is arts and crafts MAD. It is hard to keep up with her. But Woolworths and Coles have brought out some Easter arts and crafts that G is going to love. DIY Easter crowns and also decorate your own eggs! While I'm a huge fan of Kmart's arts and crafts products, sadly we don't live near Kmart :-(

Arts and Crafts
G is arts and crafts mad! I like to encourage her creativity, but so far I haven't figured out how to keep the mess under control. I have a couple of storage draws and her own table space - but it's not really ideal. Also there isn't an amazing amount of space left, after her Kitchen, her doll house, her dress up wardrobe...eeek! I am madly Pinteresting ideas of how to re do G's Art space.

Rock Your Baby
Not that we need any Winter clothes at all, since we reside in the area of eternal Summer!! But G has become addicted to RYB tutu dresses, so maybe we might get a couple from the upcoming RYB Winter release. I am not a total fan of the faces on the dresses, but G really wants the pink one she said. And I like the kitty cat so we will see :-D :-D.

When time flies and your baby is now four years old
Return of the baby blog. Except the first baby is now four years old and the second baby is one!!! Sometimes life happens fast.
Baby one, now know as the four year old G. She hates toothpaste, she calls it 'disgusting'. This year she started Kindergarten and she came home and declared that the toothpaste they made her brush her teeth with was of course 'disgusting'. I have bought every single toothpaste you can get for kids. None have made the cut, there goes lots of moneys worth of toothpaste. So now we have bought 'Frozen' toothpaste with a strawberry flavour, off Ebay and coming from Korea. Things we do for our kids.

Sleeping beauty
My sleeping beauty has more peter alexander pajama sets than I do! They are so cute for little kids though and on sale they are not that more expensive than a Target pair. Plus they have the bum flap which is always handy on a toilet trained toddler.

Handmade fashionista
Now that we have moved away from the bright lights big city, it's become a bit harder to stock up on clothes for G. I can't leisurely browse the racks of Kmart or Target or Cotton On Kids. Which meant that a recent market outing I finally succumbed to buying those really really cute handmade toddler dresses that costs an arm and a leg. And it was so beautiful and handmade I promptly bought another and another. G has recently gone up to size 3 in dresses so it was easy to justify the expense - eek. They are so beautiful though! Though G's fav pair of shoes at the moment are her light up Minnie Mouse crocs - not so chic!

Drawing - who knew you had to have strategic tools?
G is now 27 months old. And it has only taken until now to finally figure out the strategic drawing tools that you need for young children! After using markers that take a lot of scrubbing to get off (usually come with colouring books) and markers pushed in from enthusiastic drawing we have finally pinpointed our go to drawing tools:
- crayola - don't bother with other brands, these are not that expensive and the best on the market (imo)
- Crayola washable markers - marketed as the worlds most washable markers - fantastic!
- Crayola dry ease crayons and pencils - yes people, this means they can be used on white boards!! genius idea
- and chalk - lets be honest and chalk will do
- paint - most paint is fine, but seriously paint is a pain in the *, I suggest you only do painting outside on grass and just hose that kid down after

Drawing shenanigans
G was a lucky girl and got a huge colouring in haul from her Aunty. G decided to explore the environment outside if colouring books with the texta's and crayons.... Luckily it was easy to remove!!!

Toddler life is chaos - return of the baby blog!
Working four days a week and looking after a toddler got the best of me, I had to take a break from the blogging world. But I have returned! Just in time to become a Stay at home mummy (SAHM). Circumstances mean that I am now taking hiatus from work for at least a year to be home with G. I am kinda excited as well as hoping that she doesn't drive me to putting her as an Ebay listing. I have started to prepare by restocking the art supplies - highly recommend ONLY these crayons and markers, they wash off so easily. I have been caught out by ones that come with colouring in material and once Gwen had blue smurf hands for a couple of days when it wouldn't wash off :-)

A table for every occasion
Great portable table for g from Big W. So handy, apart from the texta's that turned out to be very hard to wash off!

A balancing bike
Who knew these things existed? A bike without pedals so toddlers can learn to balance walking on the bike and then transition straight to a bike with pedals and no training wheels I still a bit dubious but G seems to like it!
The zoo and bargains
I hardly ever get to shop 'in real life' anymore, so was delighted when I got a chance and not only found the dress for g I could not get online but also five sandals that were $1.40 each. They were only in G's current size so hopefully she gets a lot of wear of them over summer - at least she will have a lot of options!

It's hot and it's cold..
The weather is so over the place at the moment it's hard to dress g for all of the temperatures of the day! It's so annoying that tights are not in store at the moment as it's summer, but luckily I have found some cute pairs on EBay!

Bossy bed head
G's communication is growing in leaps and bounds. So is her bossiness, on this photo she would not let me brush her hair! I picked up this travel table from Big W for $15 I'm the hope it facilitates less mess....wish me luck!

Toddling around
G is fast becoming an independent toddler! Her lastest thing is to do the shopping with her own trolley! So cute, but likes to put sneaky shopping in her trolley ;-).

Tutu travel toddler
G has travelled so much she is actually excited about flying! Though I now know to bother with toys (apart from her cabbage patch) and stick to activities like colouring books.
