Wonder week anxiety

We breezed through the last Wonder Week so I am really hoping we do the same for the next one that is due any day! Little G loves her fedora and is such a good walker now (also likes to do the chicken dance!)

The Easter Hat Parade

G's daycare have informed me she needs an Easter hat (bonnet) for their Easter parade!  ARGH, I was not expecting this so early - I figured maybe daycare would make hers as part of craft, but that seems not the case.  To compensate for not doing an Easter hat (I promise next year I will), I bought an entire Easter outfit from Target - $46 but I figured everything could be reworn anyway and the ears were $2 :-)

Fedora!!

G's dad bought her a fedora last year from Target. She wears it all the time, so it's really crumpled and we need a new one. It's been a bit harder to find a replacement Fedora but finally found a cute one on EBay!

Every little girl needs a fur vest for Winter

Stopped into Kmart and it was like Winter heaven for little girls in there!  I bought a horse raincoat that had a hood and was lined with fleece, two cute Winter dresses and a fur vest!  Totally impractical (hey I didn't get the leather jacket for my G lol) yet SO cute!  everything was $12 each!

Autumn

Coles Mix n Match is awesome! Nothing for me this latest trip, but two cute things for G.  Went to Target to buy G cute shoes for daycare and saw this leather jacket in size one OMG CUTE! Did not buy it, G has enough Winter coats now and this would be a bit silly to add to the pile lol, maybe next year.  Picked up some essentials from Big W

Baby got brand new shoes take two

G kindly modeled one pair each of her new shoes!  After struggling to find not ugly baby walking shoes (they are really cute when they are prewalker shoes and suddenly they start walking and apparently have to have ugly shoes).  Bought them from a shop called Blue Sky Kids Land .  Only got two (which brings total of shoes to three) since old big foot actually skipped a whole size last growth spurt!  Thank god I managed to resell her to small shoes on Ebay and practically made my whole money back!

Cotton On Kids took all my money lol

I went to go buy G the puffer jacket I really wanted to get her after we went for a holiday to the cold and I realised she was going to need at least one REALLY warm jacket!  So it justified the purchase of the Cotton On Bomber jacket - but when I went to go buy it at my local store and IT HAD CLOSED DOWN. Talk about devastation, why on earth would Cotton On Kids close a store down, surely I alone was keeping them in business!!  So when I got home I signed up for their 30% off discount and it was free shipping whoo too. Picked up some more clips and two pairs of leggings.  My Husband greatly protested at more leggings, but its her staple uniform at daycare and they are getting worn out very quickly! I think all up with discount it was about $50.  I have to admit that living in a colder climate is a lot more expensive than in a tropical one!

I bought a whole stack of hair clips for G. We are officially stocked up clips! These are so cute :-) cost $50 including postage.

Magic Stick and clip me

This is a bubble stick from Kmart/Big W - both of those shops sell them for $1.  They have a wand in them and bubble solution so you can blow through the wand or wave it around and bubbles everywhere! they last a fair while and kids love them!!  Dora Explorer and Hello Kitty clips from Ebay - $10 all together plus free shipping!

These shoes were made for walking!

It has been my experience in searching for toddler shoes that are supportive for little feet, that there are a lot of ugly ones out there! After totally giving up we stopped into the Foot Locker and got G a pair of hot Pink NIKE sneakers. $50 and so cute.

ABC 2 took all my money

This was $12.95, kinda  a waste as she doesn't love it and the library has these books.  But she does get excited and go hoot hoot hoot for a majority of the book before losing interest and wandering away lol

G is just an awesome age, the world has opened up to her and she has quickly morphed into a walking/running and talking little toddler who is interested in everything.  I put ABC2 on in the mornings while I get her and I ready for work/daycare.  Because she has really taken a shine to a lot of the shows, I could not resisting spending $100 at the ABC shop on a whole bunch of stuff:

Big W Haul part 2

I have just borrowed a huge amount of books from the library to see what ones G likes, she is right into books at the moment and bringing them up to us to have a read to her.  I decided to buy two sets from Big W and a Giggle and Hoot book from the ABC shop.  I am slightly regretting my purchases, since my haul from the library was pretty impressive and we are trying to avoid clutter in the house and all together they were $50 - but oh well! Also got this book shelf from ToysRUsin an effort to tidy the clutter.  I am looking forward to opening the 'Noni the Pony' book set that came with a toy pony, G loves saying 'neigh' for a horse - so adorable.
