Puffy feet and I heart my chiropractor

Today's look of the day highlights that my entire wardrobe can now only be accompanied by three pair of shoes! My feet gave swollen up! So haviana things or two pairs of ankle bootie sandals are the only shoes that are comfortable now - eek! This is the third week since I have started seeing a chiropractor. Although I think my bellybean maternity pillow has contributed immensely to relieving the pelvic pain I was experiencing, combined with my chiropractor I am now completely freed from back pain and no longer waddle. Amazing! Though I still can't wear heels because of fat sore feet lol. Look of the day: one teaspoon shirt, jeans west black maternity jeans, lovisa turquoise bracelet beads, forever new turquoise earrings and my zebra sandals. As you can see from photos, unpacking in the new house is still a work progress.

  1. You are quite lucky to have a very good chiropractor! I, too, had my share of pelvic pains when I was pregnant with my first child. There were sleepless nights, and walking seems to be a daunting task. I also went to a chiropractor near our place. After attending a few sessions, my pelvic pains were relieved. He also helped to place my baby in the right position for giving birth. I had a very smooth delivery because of him. He was great! I still see him for my migraines though.

  2. Good for you! Seeing a chiropractor during your pregnancy can help you in so many ways. Ms. Allie mentioned a few. Additionally, the American Pregnancy Association states that there are no unknown contradictions for chiropractic care for pregnant women. In fact, it allows quicker labor and delivery. Anyway, I hope your delivery went well.

  3. Gwen’s right! Also, pregnant women are prone to misaligned spine because of some bodily changes that occur during the pregnancy stage. Thus, it is important to establish pelvic balance. There’s a tendency that when a pelvis is misaligned, the baby will have a hard time finding its proper position for delivery. In this case, chiropractic care can do pregnant women a lot of good. :)

  4. Chiropractics assisted my sister a lot during her pregnancy. Since it was her first conceiving, it really helped her to establish a balanced alignment on her pelvis. Studies have shown that when the pelvis is misaligned, it can reduce the available space for the developing baby. I’m glad that my sister tried that physical therapy. =)
