Jet lag

Gwen was very jet lagged and for the first few days in New York work at about 2am in the morning bright and cheery tailed ready to start the day -argh. But we survived, apart from that she has been a great travel companion! Went to Times Square Toys R Us and bought a cabbage patch doll and another baby for $35 all together - how amazingly cheap! 

My little New Yorker

G is loving New York, we have even taught her to say 'Hot Dog'! Picked up two copies of this board book, one for home and one to donate to the daycare book shelf. She loved Central Station's roof!

The most amazing thing in the world

The tangle teezer has saved our morning routines from the continual whining routine while brushing G's hair! The one I bought was $35 but I'm sure they are cheaper, I was suspicious about whether they really worked but my hairdresser assured me that it slides through knots and kids love them. omg she was right, G never whinged anymore and her hair is perfectly brushed and doesn't pull on any knots!!

Jemima vs mumma

Little g still doesn't really call me mumma. She knows how to say it, but doesn't. We went to the Playschool concert and I bought G a Jemima doll $30, ABC once again taking all my money! She loves Jemima. She calls Jemima by her name all the time, but still no mumma! We are currently in New York and Jemima joined us on our travels, and we went to the biggest ToysRUs in the world in Times Square and got I Love NY monkey to keep Jemima company lol. 

Cars

In effort to be a bit PC, I bought g two cars from Big W. she doesn't really care for them at the moment

Non messy artistry

G loves to draw, unfortunately also likes to eat the drawing tools as well - no matter if they are texta, crayon or chalk lol. So I ended up getting three sketch pads, you know - the ones where you draw in the pad then you sipe the slate clean and draw away again. A large one Big W, a small peppa pig one from Big W and a small one from ToysRus - $25 for the lot! So we have one in the car and two in the house and G loves them all! Best investment ever :-)

Epic bed head!

G as crazy epic bed hair. That's how bad a sleeper she is, tosses and turns and knots and matts her hair up! Only a huge amount of spray in

conditioner tames the bed head beast in the morning.
